The challenge at Vantage Point House revolved around creating an efficient and user-friendly meeting room solution. To address the room’s size and visibility challenge, Comcen installed an LG 98″ Large Format Display, transforming meeting rooms with optimal visibility, immersive presentations and versatile content display. With high-resolution visuals and centralised focus, it enhances engagement, decision-making and professional impressions. The wow factor of a 98″ screen leaves a lasting impact, elevating the overall meeting experience. Repeater 43” secondary screens were installed to enhance viewing angles.

The Poly E70 Video Conferencing solution ensures seamless meetings with high-definition video and noise-blocking technology. Its user-friendly interface and adaptability improve collaboration, making it ideal for diverse meeting spaces. The ceiling-mounted Yamaha Adecia Audio System delivers enhanced audio in the large room, optimising space, enhancing aesthetics and ensuring 360-degree audio coverage. Additionally, it reduces clutter and improves acoustic performance for clear, organised communication.

Pentwyn Station – Cardiff Meeting Room Solutions

In the revitalisation of Cardiff’s Pentwyn Station, Comcen executed a tailored Meeting Room Solutions setup, strategically incorporating technology to enhance collaboration and communication. The installation comprised a duo of 75” and a 65” displays, offering expansive and versatile visual capabilities. The Poly E70 camera ensured seamless video conferencing experiences. The Yamaha Adecia Dante Audio System, with its innovative ceiling-mounted speakers and microphone, addressed the audio requirements with precision.

The centralised Kramer control panel served as the command centre, managing inputs to the 75″ primary display and 65″ repeater. Its versatile functionality allowed for seamless input control of video conferencing, ScreenBeam for wireless content sharing, Trust PC and HDMI Faceplate for wired content sharing. This synchronised control system facilitated a streamlined and organised meeting environment, enhancing efficiency and user experience.

The Lenovo ThinkSmart Hub took charge of video conferencing aspects, intricately linked with the Poly E70 Director camera system. The synergy between the Lenovo ThinkSmart Hub and Poly E70 Director ensured a cohesive and integrated video conferencing experience, further enhancing the overall Meeting Room Solutions.

Denbighshire Meeting Room Solutions

In Denbighshire, the Meeting Room Solution is also powered by a Kramer control panel, orchestrating inputs to two impressive 86” Phillips Screens. This central hub manages diverse inputs, including video conferencing facilitated by the Lenovo ThinkSmart Hub 500, Poly Studio USB for exceptional audio and video, ScreenBeam 1000 for wireless content sharing, and an HDMI face-plate for wired content sharing. The Poly Studio USB offers high-quality audio and 4K video, enriching communication. The solution enables the audience’s ability to choose and customise inputs on each of the 86” screens, enhancing versatility and engagement.

Swansea – Meeting Room Solutions

The Swansea installations at Llansamlett and Bonymaen focused on similar Meeting Room Solutions with 65″ Phillips screens, Poly Studio cameras, Screenbeam, and Lenovo ThinkSmart Hub. Challenges in optimal screen placement were met, and a user-friendly setup with lecterns for the ThinkSmart Hub was achieved.
