Penyrheol Theatre

Penyrheol Theatre is a community theatre which plays host to a wide range of events and shows every year.

These include fashion shows, private functions, plays, talent shows, productions such as High School Musical and Annie as well as the annual Pantomime and Dance Festival.

In addition to the main auditorium and stage, Penyrheol Theatre also features green rooms and a drama/dance studio.

After some free consultancy, Comcen were asked to provide a solution to supply a fully functional cinema within a strict budget.

After submitting our plans, Comcen were given authorisation to complete the installation based on our recommendations.

Due to the theatre also being used by the local Comprehensive School for exams, only a two day window of opportunity was available to install and commission the equipment. Comcen supplied the design, product and installation, incorporating the original sound system into our design.

The new equipment included a large 6M Electric Projector Screen, a long throw High Definition projector using CAT5e cabling to convert the signals between the devices.

Comcen were successful in completing the installation on time to the appreciation of all involved.
