The Salvation Army
ComcenAV supplied and installed a state-of-the-art audio-visual solution within the church at the Swansea Branch of the Salvation Army to improve the sound and vision of their services and training facilities.
The Salvation Army is a worldwide Christian church and registered charity. The Salvation Army works in 127 countries, demonstrating Christian principles through practical support; offering unconditional friendship, and practical help to people of all ages, backgrounds and needs.
The church were experiencing problems with their current AV set up of a projector and screen and had complained about poor sound quality. They sort a local, experienced, trustworthy company to assist them with an upgrade. Recommendations pointed them in the direction of Comcen.
Following a free consultation, and drawing from our experience within the Audio Visual industry, our engineers immediately identified the issues causing the problems. Old equipment coupled with old technology was causing poor vision and sound quality. Running the systems over VGA cables was adding to the poor imagery resulting in the Salvation Army’s services being compromised.
With financial considerations being paramount our knowledgeable AV experts were able to source high spec AV equipment without having to compromise on quality over price satisfying the Salvation Army need for a solution within budget. Over a two day period our engineers de-installed the old equipment and re-installed the new systems, using an 85” 4K LED TV and 50” LED TV over HDMI cabling to dramatically improve the image clarity, new speakers where installed to improve sound quality.
The Salvation Army now have a fully operational audio visual system which has dramatically improved their regular church services and teachings.
Thanks for the work undertaken at the Salvation Army Swansea. We are delighted with it.
